Early labor was alright, the middle started to really suck, transition hit like a ton of bricks and my vocalizations turned all hilariously ghost-like from quivering from the pain, and I managed to get 2nd degree tears left/right/down and am swollen as all hell. I still cannot believe I actually managed no medication as planned; it was intense! Outside of the brick-like-feeling between my legs, I feel fantastic, she's been latching on well once she gets her act together, and she's the most wonderful daughter we could ever ask for. She stayed alert for hours after she was born and nursed and sat content in our arms and soaked in the outside world. More details to come after we're more settled!

She's here!
Liliana Marie was born at 3:50 PM on Sunday, March 8th after about 13 hours of labor and 1 hour of pushing. The super-abbreviated birth story: I labored at home until noon when all I could think about was getting into a giant tub of warm water, went to the hospital, got checked and was already at 8 cm, got into the delightful labor tub and hit transition, got out and was complete, had my waters broke, and she descended from -1 station to born after a ha
